1998 Volkswagen Passat Recommendations

The all-new 1998 Volkswagen Passat is completely redesigned with a longer wheelbase and a slightly larger exterior. This new Passat is equipped with a new four-link front suspension system designed to improve handling and virtually eliminate torque steer. In addition, the Passat GLS is the first Volkswagen to be available with a unique 1.8 liter four cylinder engine featuring Volkswagenss five-valve technology. Standard interior amenities include air conditioning, a premium AM/FM stereo with cassette, power windows and door locks, front passenger side impact air bags and Format velour interior (leather is standard in the GLX). Other standard features include anti-lock brakes, integrated fog lamps and traction control.
