Product Details
The 1998 C-Class sedan is available in three models - the C230, C280 and C43. For 1998, the C280 engine has been upgraded to a 2.8L V6 which is 25% lighter and 13% more fuel efficient than its predecessor with no loss of power. The C43 late introduction complimented the C-Class line with AMG high-performance sedan. The limited production C43 is equipped with 4.3L V8 302-horsepower engine, 17-inch alloy wheels and low-profile tires and sport-tuned suspension. Only 1,500 of C43 models will be imported over a 3-year period. The C280 is available with the optional C6 Sport Package which includes 16-inch alloy wheels, leather sport bucket seats, interior and exterior sport badging, sport-tuned suspension and ivory-colored instrument faces.
