Product Details
For 2001, the Alero is available in six models: GX, GL, and GLS, in sedan and coupe body styles. New for 2001 is an improved anti-lock brake system, a revised five-speed manual transmission, and an AM/FM CD player that replaces last years AM/FM Cassette radio. A new 8-speaker sound system is standard on the GLS model. Sublime cloth interior and new exterior colors of Dark Bronzemist Metallic, Galaxy Silver Metallic, and Light Driftwood Metallic are also new this year. Standard features include all-speed traction control, a Passlock II theft deterrent system, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, and daytime running lights. The GL model includes power windows, remote keyless entry system, and a leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob
