1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass Recommendations

For 1998, the Cutlass has no major changes from the 1997 model except the Cutlass Supreme line up has been dropped. The Cutlass may also be terminated from the Oldsmobile line up by the year 2000. The remote keyless entry system, standard on the GLS model, has rolling codes to prevent unauthorized copying of security digits. The headlamps and daytime running lights turn on and off automatically. The PASSLock Theft Deterrent System, a split-folding rear seat, and air conditioning with rear ducts are standard. The air conditioning outlets are located in the windshield pillars to prevent chilled knuckles. The Convenience Package is standard on the GLS and includes power windows and mirrors, a keyless remote entry system and a cargo net.
