1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette Recommendations

The Oldsmobile Silhouette mini-van returns with minimal changes to the interior and exterior. Standard on all models is a sliding driver and passenger door on each side. A power operated right side sliding door is available and is standard on the Premiere Edition model. The Silhouette features a new 3.4L V6 coupled with a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. This engine has been increased to 185 hp and 210 lbs of torque @ 4000 rpm. Standard equipment on the Silhouette include a luggage rack, a remote keyless entry system, speed control and automatic door locks. Concerning safety, the Silhouette is equipped with daytime running lights, automatic headlamp control, fog lights, an energy absorbing steering wheel and side impact airbags.
