1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse Recommendations

The 1996 Eclipse is available in six models - RS, GS, GS-T, GSX, Spyder GS and Spyder GS-T. For 1996, the eclipse features upgraded stereo options, new exterior colors, HomeLink System and the introduction of the Spyder convertibles. A 140 hp 2.0L engine is standard on RS and GS models, while GS-T, GSX and Spyder GS-T models feature a 210 hp 2.0L turbo engine. Spyder GS models feature a 141 hp 2.4L engine. Variable-assist power steering and four-wheel independent multi-link suspension are standard on all Eclipses. GSX models feature full-time all-wheel drive, while the rest are front-wheel drive. Options include remote keyless entry, power sunroof and leather seats. Appearance, Convenience and Preferred Equipment Packages are optional.
