Product Details
New for 1997, the 328s get a minor facelift and All Season Traction becomes standard equipment on all models. Also new is BMWs Scheduled Maintenance Program, which includes all factory recommended periodic maintenance for the first three years or 36,000 miles at no extra cost. The manual transmission is newly equipped with a starter interlock that requires the clutch pedal to be depressed before the starter will operate. The Service Interval Indicator recommends maintenance on the basis of actual car use rather then fixed mileage intervals. Standard features on all 328s include retained accessory power, central locking system and exterior closing of windows and sunroof from exterior door locks. Optional packages are also available.
