1998 BMW 7 Series Recommendations

The1998 7 Series is available in three models. It remains unchanged except for new safety features. BMW introduces the car industrys first Head Protection System for side impacts. An inflatable tubing along the lower windshield pillar to the roof inflates during side-impacts to shield front and rear occupants from head impacts to the side of the car. In addition, side-impact airbags are standard for front passengers, and optional side-impact airbags are available for rear passengers. Front-impact airbags come standard with a dual threshold deployment system that deploys an airbag at different velocities for occupants wearing, or not wearing safety belts. Aside from impact protection, an optional navigation system is available for 1998.
