The Sony UWP-S1 is a UHF wireless Lavalier microphone system consisting of a body-pack transmitter, uni-directional lavalier microphone and half-rack / table-top mountable diversity receiver. The system operates via UHF channels and features 188 user selectable frequencies, providing plenty of options when interference is present. The half-rack receiver features a Space Diversity design represented with dual swivel antennas. This feature stabilizes reception by selecting the strongest of dual incoming signals, then sending the chosen signal to output. The end result is clear reception and longer range due to minimal interference and drop-out. The unit features a XLR output and 1/4" Phone outputs and is capable of both mic and line-level signal. A stereo headphone jack with separate volume adjust is located on the front panel. An LCD display provides frequency & channel information, battery life and usage time. A green LED illuminates when RF-input is received.
