The Compaq Evo Thin Client T20 is a Microsoft Windows-based terminal popularly referred to as a "thin-client." A Windows-based terminal or thin client is a client device that connects over a network to a Windows NT Server running Windows 2000 or NT Terminal Server Edition or either of those operating systems with Citrix MetaFrame software running atop the server OS. This combination of client and server running a thin client solution is referred to as Thin Client Server Computing. The thin client is but one part of that overall solution.
