This entry-level DAT drive provides up to 4 GB of storage per tape at rates up to 1.3 GB per hour. It protects server up to 4 GB in capacity. New advancements in tape technology have produced a tape drive, which requires less cleaning and provides improved backup/restore operation.??This drive utilizes industry standard DDS-1 tape format. Built-in hardware compression provides improved performance. It is fully tested on a variety of Compaq products including ProSignia VS, ProSignia, and ProLiant up to 4 GB of capacity.
