The COMBO ION drive is a 2.5 hard drive, fully compatible with Firewire (a.k.a. iLink & IEEE-1394) and USB 2.0 specifications and IDE ATA 100 peripheral devices. It supports high-speed data transfer rates of up to 400 Mbps or 480 Mbps respectively, and it is also backward compatible with USB 1.1 specifications. The ION drive is hot swappable and Plug-n-Play. The compact size and attractive design of this unit make it perfect for mobile professionals.
