The MSA Fabric Switch 6 is an optional six port, 2Gb/s Fiber Channel Fabric Switch. The MSA Fabric Switch 6 replaces the standard single port Fiber Channel connection provided by the Modular SAN Array Fiber Channel I/O Module. There are a total of five external fiber channel ports. Four of the external fiber channel ports are Small Form Factor Fixed (SFF) short wave transceivers and are not removable. The fifth port requires the installation of a Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver.
