The Intel Express Router 9100 is used for wide area networking among multiple sites over Frame Relay and X.25 networks.??The Intel Express Router 9100 features two WAN ports that connect to a leased line (T1/E1) or a switched network. It supports Frame Relay services over public or private networks and supports X.25 over Packet Switched Data Networks (PSDNs). For additional flexibility, the 9100 can be connected to a Frame Relay and X.25 network simultaneously. One connection to a switched network provides access to as many other sites as a particular router allows users to define. Intel Express Routers have the unique distinction of allowing definition of up to 62 (62 is the total number of LAN and WAN links available.
