The Panasonic PT-61D30 rear-projection TV was the company's least expensive 61-inch model when introduced, but it is nevertheless equipped with many upscale features. Highlights include a 3-line digital comb filter to reduce dot-crawl, digital convergence to prevent color fringing, and 2-tuner picture-in-picture that allows concurrent viewing of two separate channels without the aid of a connected VCR. ??The set's stereo audio system incorporates Panasonic's Artifical Intelligence tone controls and Spatializer 3D surround sound. The rear-panel jack pack holds a component-video input, an S-video jack, and two composite-video inputs. An additional A/V jack is located on the front for quick connection of camcorders, video games, etc. The audio output level can be fixed or variable. A lighted universal remote control is included with the PT-61D30.
