Panasonic today introduced six new HDTV rear projection TV sets at the International Consumer Electronics Show that are sure to whet the appetite of any serious video aficionado. Four of these high-quality, widescreen sets include the company's new Digital Platinum Package, a set of features that enhance viewing pleasure and increase functionality. The 2004 line-up also features Panasonic's unique P3 Technology Precision Picture Processing that provides auto convergence, a 540p progressive doubler, a new 3D comb filter, HDMI (High Definition and Multimedia Interface) input with HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), new digital noise reduction, a new sharpness circuit and a new contrast circuit.
