Product Details
Sony was the first to use digital circuitry to accomplish Dolby?? Pro Logic?? decoding (1986). And the first to build an all-digital preamplifier (1989). And the first with 24-bit Dolby Digital decoding (1997). The TA-E9000ES is another benchmark: the worlds first floating-point 32-bit preamplifier. It incorporates the same Analog Devices SHARC?? processor used in professional movie theater systems. So you get a precision, transparency and three-dimensionality that conventional home theater systems just cant touch. Theres even an RS-232C interface to your PC, to enable future firmware upgrades.
