Zonet's ZEW1600 is a wireless PCI Card that offers 54Mbps data rate with 2.4GHz frequency from the latest IEEE 802.11g Wireless Standard. Operating in the 2.4Ghz frequency band similar to 802.11b, but the 802.11g standard provides a throughput of up to 54 Mbps by using a different radio technology in order to boost overall bandwidth. It offers peer to peer connection via desktop, and Ethernet LAN & WAN connection. This PCI Card is back-compatible with devices on 802.11b standard, and can easily connect to routers or accesspoint on 802.11b or 802.11g standard. User-friendly and easy to setup, Zonet also offers protection with industry standard WEP (Wired-Equivalency Privacy) 64bit or 128bit of encryption
