Canary (CC-2000) Transceiver Recommendations

The CC-2000 series of converters and boosters provide cost-effective flexibility in network configuration. The converters support these media combinations: BNC/UTP, BNC/FO, UTP/FO and MAU/MAU (Media Attachment Unit, female AUI). By supporting two MAU's the MAU/ MAU converter allows the user to attach two mini-transceivers of any type to create universal conversion. ??It is easy to select which converter or booster suits the user's needs because of the "one-on-one" (i.e. dual-port) nature of the units. Each unit features a comprehensive set of diagnostic LEDs. All the units are designed in accordance with the following standards: coax interface devices comply with Ethernet V1.0, V2.0 and IEEE 802.3 fiber optic interface devices comply with Ethernet IEEE 802.3 10Base-FL and FOIRL, and the unshielded twisted pair interface devices comply with Ethernet IEEE 802.3 10Base-T.
