The Danube can deliver full routing support for all commonly used protocols. ??The Danube is available in two models. One has a single Ethernet interface, the other has an inbuilt 8 port 10BaseT hub. Both use the same WAN interface cards for either CSU/DSU, ISDN BRI or WAN/ISDN combo. The cards support the following electrical interfaces RS232, V.35, RS422 and X.21. WAN protocols include Frame Relay, ISDN, X.25, PPP, SMDS and HDLC/LAPB. These modules are easily configured and installed so remote sites can be connected through leased lines or switched digital circuits, as well as using dial-up links for occasional applications. The Danube supports bandwidth optimization features at no additional charge. These include Data compression, Express queuing and advanced dialing techniques.
