Alcatel Security Gateways, components of the Alcatel Secure Network Infrastructure solution, are IPSec-compliant security appliances for secure site-to-site data communications, or for client-to-site intranets, extranets, and Internet remote access. Based on the pioneering technology developed by Timestep, these dedicated appliances fit into any existing infrastructure and provide security services for the enterprise. Alcatel offers two tamper-resistant security gateway appliances - the Alcatel 210 and 250 - each ideal for a particular deployment scenario.
