Zeniths rear-projection R40W46 offers a scintillating 40-inch widescreen (16:9) image bolstered by a host of picture-enhancing technologies. The set offers full HDTV resolution, accepting decoded 1080i or 480p video signals from DTV set-top boxes or progressive-scan DVD players and satellite receivers. It also upconverts standard interlaced (480i composite- and S-video) signals, bringing VCRs, nonprogressive DVD players, cable boxes, and other entertainment devices up to 1080i or 480p resolution.
