DuoScan is a versatile, high-resolution scanner that incorporates an innovative TwinPlate Scanning Technology, enabling users to scan reflective artwork and transparencies on independent scan beds within a single, integrated unit. Transparencies are placed on a tray, which slides into the body of the scanner. A single carriage, carrying light sources, optics, and a CCD sensor, traverses between the upper glass plate for reflectives and the transparency tray below.
