This is part of a series of multi-function scanners for photos and transparencies. Positive film and paper documents (up to 4" x 6") can be directly scanned without a transparency kit. The scanner's specially designed input cartridge protects original documents from damage during a scan. The input cartridge also prevents paper jams - unlike other products that rely on troublesome input holders to hold the document for scanning, this model eliminates paper jam problems.
