Timed Dry cycles simply count down like a clock to approximate accurate dryness for fabric type selected. With this type of drying, the timer acts similar to a clock and runs for exactly the amount of time for which it is set. It allows the user to determine the length of time they feel the dryer should run in order to dry the load. All GE dryers are Quiet-by-Design because they have teflon drum slides for quiet rotation (no noisy drum rollers), permanently lubricated quiet motor and feature a solid full floor to isolate sound inside.
