We are looking for the location the the seiral number on a Yamaha 500 series snowmobie. Any clue as to where it would be?

write down the seiral number and make and model and look up the makers phone number

engine number should be located on top of the gearbox, stamped, either left or right side.
Frame number is located on the steering stem of the frame.

supported here and those formats offer no clue as to where these guitars where made.

The serial numbers repeat evry 10 years... you have to know what decade is likely thenfrom the Yamaha wizard: Your guitar was made on

Bad DSP chip. The only other possibility is if you have the "Direct" on. On the front of the receiver it's a small button. Also make sure your "Speaker Select" A/B is "on" You will see it on the display, it's also a small button on the front of the receiver. If all this is correct and you still have no audio, it's a bad DSP chip. Not worth repair, it's 400-500 repair. Not very common in a Yamaha RX-V series, but I have seen it. I'm a Yamaha Dealer. Your powered mixer does but the model number doesn't match any Yamaha models. Double-check and look for the manual at Yamaha's website. It probably the 300 or the 512.
