My 2007 BMW K1200S overheats in warm weather when riding in lower gears for periods of 5 minutes or longer. A dealer cleaned the radiator and bled the system however the problem still persists.

sounds like a head gasket problem. A minor leak there will pump compression into coolant and force it out of heater core. Any unusual steaming from tail pipe? Also: if radiator was flushed "in car" sometimes debris does not come out. Try flushing with it out of the vehicle. Jeep radiators are notoriously small for their application if not at at least 90% they will not work correctly.I'd look at the hg first though otherwise, your symptoms seem to be contradictory.

Just a shot in the dark- I think your main projection lamp is going bad- If the set is more than a year or 2 old it can happen. Unfortunately they are a little expensive.

SOURCE: overheating

check fluid levels, could be your thermostat or water pump. check oil. its probably your water pump or thermostat...could be blocked radiator. For bikes they have this ICE coolant you can get at a motorcycle and atv shop, it might help :) fix these problems before you keep riding or you are going to blow a ghead gasket, SPENDY :)

Overheating at idle

sounds like a partially plugged radiator. Colder temps will be OK but when weather warms up the problem shows up too...check for leaves etc between the radiator and ac condenser before doing anything else. Stuff on the outside will act the same way as an internal obstruction.

Car not shifting into second gear

If the car is grinding when going into reverse, you need to have the clutch bled or repaired.

If it goes into reverse with out grinding, I am sorry to tell you your problem is internal to the gearbox. Bad or damaged Syncro

Good luck

Overheating

yes, have a machanic check out your fan switch and see if this is the issue... if not... installing a new/bigger radiator and air intake will help keep the motor cool. If this is mostly happening after driving short distances, try sitting in your car with the motor running for about 5 minutes after you park. This should let the motor cool down properly and cool your troubles as well :)
