SOURCE: i need to remove the rear sprocket to change a broken spoke

A tool that is like a socket goes in the center of the gears. And keeps the sprocket from spinning
And a special wrench slides over the out side gears grips gears.

Then centrifugally forced the sprocket will unscrew clockwise.
You sort of need those tools.
Or if you are good with tools. One can be made.

I'm not sure if that is what you want to do.

But yes, the sprocket is screwed on like a nut.

Hope this helps

Finding the Speed omatder cable on my Suzuki eiger 2005 400 quad because the quad isn't reading my speed

If you have the front wheel off recently one, the speedometer sensor is easily broken and a common occurrence when the wheel is removed and replaced.
The symptoms are erratic or non-working speedo.
Also, there is a wiring harness under the speedometer. Remove the 3 bolts holding on the speedometer, and carefully lift it up and check to make sure the harness is plugged together tightly.

How to fit a speed sensor on a yamaha r6 1999

Speed sprocket is on leftside of front wheel. Disconnect speedo cable from under speedometer itself and turn front wheel to see if cable turns. If not dis connect at front wheel and try turning cable, it's a squared pieces of cable inside black casing. If you can pull both ends out then it is definetly broken. This is much more likely than breaking the speedo sprocket on front wheel. If it is speedo sprocket, get a new one and remove front wheel , change sprocket and reassemble. If Speedo sprocket is being stubborn coming out use something relatively soft and tap it out. Good Luck.

2000 powerstroke abs light on speedo not working od light flashes

ok one thing to do is scan codes to see which sensor is not reading. then go to it with a scanner hooked up. youre gonna be able to see live moh parameters or windows to see live data anyhow access the rear which isnt working. jack up truck safely put in drive then proceed tothe rear sensor wire. u can do this at any sensor that isnt reading. u then look at the mph window in scan tool an watch it while u wiggle the affected sensor wire goin to the harness. watch for jumps an droputs of the mph parameter while wiggling sensor wires from sensor all the way to the harness. thats how its done looking for broken wires. food luck hope this helps

1998 gsxr 750 speedo problem

if the speedo doesn't work through a cable then it probably works on a electronic sensor.try and trace the wire from the back of the speedo to the sensor and replace the sensor.will more than likely be around the front wheel area or the gearbox.
