Sounds like an electrical problem. Maybe the ignition module is overheating and when it cools it works again. That depends on what ignition you have also. Possible that you have a chassis electrical overload and a circuit breaker trips. If you are in a place that is quiet when it stalls listen very carefully and you might hear a click. If you hear a click try and start the motor, if it runs then chances are it is a breaker. You will need to find which one and then find why you have an overload of amps, usually a shorted wire or bad ignition switch however electrical problems are tough to cure.
I could list a lot of things to do but it would depend on your skills. If you don't normally work on your bike but have a mechanic then you should take it to him. Otherwise get a schematic (In the back of the factory manual) and start tracing and testing.
An ignition is usually tested by replacing it.

What things could i look for on my 2009 harley davidson super glide as to why my alarm will not shut off and let start my bike

If you are turning the bike on before turning the alarm off that will happen. If not check and make sure that the connection for the alarm has not come loose.

Why would my harley davidson 1998 dyna wide glide stop running after a short trip after being shut off for 20 minutes and restarted?

when it shuts down does it sputter first or is the shut down immediate without warning. sputtering is usually a condition of lack of fuel.any intake leak at the manifold especially at the head will cause "sneezing" out of the carb. Restart can be difficult and intermittent. A weak ignition module especially the adjustable kind can be unpredictable. a lot of the after markets are adjustable.A 1998 scooter tells me you have an Evo and being it's 16yrs old the likelihood of having a stock module is nil. check the plug where the module plugs to the ignition harness as well. Often times, because of it's age, these pins turn green or they either bend or they pull out just enough to break contact. I've also experience cracking of the wire insulation causing temporary short. shutting down the engine and difficult restarts. As with all jobs, check the simplest and obvious and don't start buying parts until you have checked all connections especially at the module where it meets the ignition harness.

Why does my 2005 dyna super glide not idle

Running fuel/air too lean or maybe bad spark plug or wire. Just make sure wires are tight. Might be fouled.

My 2006 dyna fxd spits and sputters, looses power then regains power and back fires. I replaced the battery and regulator cover. What could be my problem?

Why did you replace the battery etc? Did this start before or after that? Could be a number of things. When does it happen? All the time or upon acceleration etc? I would start with a new set of plugs and go from there.

Please post a comment if you have more information to provide or if you get an answer etc.
