Sounds like an electrical problem. Maybe the ignition module is overheating and when it cools it works again. That depends on what ignition you have also. Possible that you have a chassis electrical overload and a circuit breaker trips. If you are in a place that is quiet when it stalls listen very carefully and you might hear a click. If you hear a click try and start the motor, if it runs then chances are it is a breaker. You will need to find which one and then find why you have an overload of amps, usually a shorted wire or bad ignition switch however electrical problems are tough to cure.
I could list a lot of things to do but it would depend on your skills. If you don't normally work on your bike but have a mechanic then you should take it to him. Otherwise get a schematic (In the back of the factory manual) and start tracing and testing.
An ignition is usually tested by replacing it.
