Question edited for clarity. I am sure hard acceleration causes 'exhilaration', but it was the wrong word.
Second gear put the most strain on the clutch for the longest time. First gear is a short shift with the highest torque, second gear is a longer shift but only with marginally less torque. Either the clutch is badly adjusted or the clutch plates and springs need changing.

KYMCO Venox 250 Manual Online: right crankcase cover removal, One Way Clutch Removal. Drain The Engine Oil. Disconnect The Clutch Cable. Remove The Right ...
Just remove the right side cover to expose the kick start mechanism. Remove the bolt on the end of the shaft, tow washers and guide then the spring. It has been awhile since I worked on the KX 250, but as I recall, the clutch does not need to be removed in the process of replacing the spring. I could be wrong on that. Below is the kick mechanism on your bike. Please rate my answer. Thanks.
You can play an adjustment with your spring, the best adjustment is when your bike does't have a running cluth situation, and once you press the cluth lever and release it you'll have power just like jumping .and thats it.
