1995 Honda VT 1100 C2 Shadow Sabre is not charging

Have you checked to see if there is a spark at the plugs? When you pull one of the plugs, if the plug is drenched in fuel then it is flooded. Pull each plug and dry it off as best you can. Let the cylinders air out for a while before you put the plugs back in.

The clicking noise you hear is the starter solenoid that switches power to the starter motor. The fact it is clicking indicates that everything up to the solenoid is working. A few things to check

1. be sure that all connections to the battery and earth to the chassis are secure and free from corrosion
2. check the terminations at the solenoid and starter motor to be sure that that they are ok. 
3. If you can meter 12 volts getting to the starter, would point to the starter failing. May need the brushes replaced.

Hi there, try this sometimes the stand switch can make the bike not work if has got rusted at the back.and check or replace the coil., then check if you are getting a spark from the plug by putting the spark plug on top of the head. The next thing is if the bike turns over but not fire up, you need to strip down carb and clean jets, also check petrol value under the tank If you have a book it will go through this step by step. good luck.

If you hooked it up to your truck.....you ruined the battery. You may have even damaged some of the charging system.
