We just bought this scooter and soon learned that it had been in an accident. When I hit start button, the engine turns over but won't start. It has some electrical problems, but I hope I solved them??? I just replaced the sparkplug, and it sounded like it might start, but quickly flooded. I think the air/fuel ratio is off?? When we first got it, gas would pore out of an overflow or adjustment that was on a hose that came out of the carburetor. Not sure what thisis or what it means because I cannot find a technical manual or schematics. I tightened the screw and now no more gas comes out. Is this some sort of adjustment?
We are trying to find a technical schema of this scooter but no luck. We called a delare and they said they do not have one and we need to call China?? Huh??
It could also be your coil, not only the cdi makes spark but if your coil went out
your enginge will not fire properly. And if not idle jet or main jet is clogged or dirty.
No , on the bottum of the carb the scew should be tighten . That is for draining the carb for winter or if you get water in it . To answer your question No it is not adjustment , you should tighten the screw on the bottum that was letting the gas to poor out . There is one screw that can be adjusted its on the same side as the drain screw that you tighten up . Half way up the carb , it should be pre adjusted but not always , mark the screw on one side where it is now . And slowly screw it in counting the turns you make . It should be about 2 full turn out . If these doesn't help put the screw back where it was . Be sure to mark it first , and COUNT your turns to the mark.
The hose and screw you are talking about is for draining the carb for winter or maintance screw the adjustment screw on carb all the way in then screw it back out 1 and a half turns if dont start turn the screw out a half turn each time

The sunl 150cc scooter runs but after 15 minutes it starts to misfire. What could be the reason for this?
