Does it have strong compression? If not, running it on straight gas could have done its damage. If the compression is strong, use a spray bottle to spray some fuel/oil mix directly into the throat of the carburetor. If it fires after using the spray, it means you're not getting fuel to the engine; make sure fuel is flowing from the tank. If it is, check your carburetor for gumming, clogs or stuck float.

I have a B&S weed trimmer Model 21032. I wish to put in some gas stabilizer but I don't know the fuel tank capacity. Any idea?

The easiest way is to mix it in your gas can as you buy gas at the service station.
If it's a 2cycle, most of the oil mix I buy says on it that stabilizer is included in the oil mix. Fuel stabilizer does not take the place of your 2cycle oil mix. I haven't ever had problems with my 2cycle gas going bad even when left for awhile.
If it's a 4cycle you can mix the stabilizer in when you buy gas.
For now, guess at the fuel tank size ( a quart ? ) and work out the ratio to add to the trimmer tank. A teaspoon maybe. A little too much won't kill anything.

no you do not mix gas but there is a type of oil that goes in the back of your engine called the houle and im not sure if its 4 meaning regular oil or 2cycle im thinking its 2 because as the engine runs it mixes on its own to create a so called 4 cycle which to everone ive talked to on the outside is a week engine im being told that 2cycle engine has alot more tourque if you want to get a job done quick and it look good

IN BACKPACK BLOWER USED 4 CYCLE OIL AND NOW RUNS SLOW

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TOUCH THE CARB!!! Put the right 2cycle fuel mix in with new spark plug and run it, it will gradually pick up R.P.M's as it cleans out. once you get it running hit your primer button while holding it wide open, this will cause it to bog down and possible stall then start it again and do this half dozen times, what it is doing is pulling your fresh gas through the carb, another way is start and hold throttle wide open and work your choke open/shut back and forth several times, You do not have to clean your carb, this is simple problem to fix by doing what I said, Happy Leaf Blowing ! 2StrokeJim

2002 kdx 200 reman motor idles great under acceleration and load it runs poorly smokes excessively and fouls sparkplug been running a 50 to 1 ratio of gas oil mix any suggestions

Make sure you have recommended spark plug. 2cycle bikes require a hot plug in order to burn fuel efficiently. I'm not that familiar with your bike but it seems too new-ish for the rings to be bad already. Another thing is... that you can't just use any 2cycle oil... you must use the manufacture's recommended oil for the fuel. Many of these machines are picky about which oil is used. Fuel to air mixture many times is the problem... this has to be just right on a 2cycle... they are touchy if they don't get the right amont of air. I hope somehting here will help you to find the answer or at least eliminate a few things if nothing else :)

What type of oil for a 90 horsepower 1998 engine for a boat?

The outboard leg/transom leg oil is most important, where the gears drive the propeller it will need a heavy oil like hypoid gear oil No. 90. If it is a four cycle motor which doesn't need to have oil mixed with the gas, the base of the motor will have an oil plug and dipstick, and most likely take a high performance oil which acts as a coolant as well as a lube oil, so keep it right on but not over the full mark to avoid deadly engine heat.
If it is a Two-cycle motor you will need a 2cycle oil to mix with the gas according to that engine's particular mix strength on the instructions. Some are automatic oilers - 2cycle injection so you just keep the 2cycle oil tank full. You need to find a sticker on the motor or brochure to get the right oil weight and weather it can take the new multi-weight synthetic oils or not. Also oil the cables and steering pivots and all joints after you take it out of salt water and do your routine flush-out for the leg coolant water system with a hose - the coolant pump in the leg is not rust proof at all, even for fresh water boating.

find a compresson tester and pull your spark plug and see what if any compresson you have as you pull it over. Good Luck

Does this chainsaw require a mix in the gas?

Yes it certainly does require a fuel oil mix, with good quaility two stroke oil the mix should be 50-1, always buy the best two stroke oil you can, use your local horticultural dealer.
