Mix the oil and gas together first. Or you can add some gas into tank, then add some oil, then add more gas, then bit more oil ... so oil-gas mixture is uniform.
then you most likely need to add oil. Park on flat ground, locate your oil dipstick, remove, wipe it off, reinsert it completely, remove and check the level. if its still clean then you need to add oil
hello sir, the gas / oil ratio is, 3/4 o/z per quart or 2.6 o/z per gallon of two cycle oil, any two cycle oil will do,this is how i mix mine and never had a problem,it is a good mix.hope this helps, don't forget the 4 thumbs up,any comments welcome, thank you. ~~
I assume your mower is starting when you "Prime" it with the plunger. That is forcing enough gas into the carb to start it, but then the gas is not flowing freely on its own. I'm guessing it sat with some Ethanol gas in it and needs a good carb cleaning, as 90 percent of what I work on, this is the case. I'm linking you to a great video which will show you how to do your carb, if you are so inclined. Best of luck to you. James Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArCAivgAyww
If you're talking about mixing two-cycle oil with gas for a two stroke motor, always mix it in a gas can then pour it in the weed eater. It's easier to put the oil in the gas can first then fill it with gas to get the two mixed well.
Yes! Normally 32:1 gas oil mixture is what you will need. The easiest way is to buy the oil in pre-measured bottles (Usually available in 6 packs). That way all you have to do is add one bottle per one gallon of gas.
Hope this helps.
(Don't forget bar oil)
usualy it is 20 miles to the gallon and to improve your gas mileage i would do a tune up... spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter. and add tune up in a can its only like $4.00 from autozone. and also replace your airfilter, add air to your tires like 35 psi. and clean your fuel system .
