I have a 1998 husqvarna CR125 and the clutch basket is broken and I can't find one so is there any interchangeable parts like honda, Yamaha, etc that will fit?

I would think that's highly unlikely. Somewhere along the way there is some link with Cagiva but if you are in the states then there a selection of new and used clutch parts including a basket on ebay

What year clutch basket will fit my 1990 yz 80

Try the 1990 YZ 80 factory replacement part. That's the only one that will do the job right.

Are clutch baskets inter-changeable on an RM 250 between 1984-1988 or newer?

If the part numbers were the same I would say yes. But the part numbers are different. Plus the 1988 RM250 seems to be a stand alone year. Which means there doesn't seem to be any interchangeable parts for a lot of that year and model.

Yz 250 clutch basket, can the groves be filed out and it be reused? Also, what years used the same basket

if you file the grooves, the plates will move about and likely break the basket, as the filing is not likely to be exactly even it will cause poor clutch opperation. sorry i dont know what years will fit but they dont change that sort of part each year, the bike breakers\wreckers may know that one.

Thought i burnt the clutch out on my wr,at a recent t and t,the bike wouldnt move when in gear with the lever released,so i replaced the clutch plates and oil,i can start the bike ,put in gear, when i let...

Please pardon my response if it is too simple, but did you correctly align the pressure plate (Center part that tops the clutch plates and has springs bolted through it.) with the inner clutch basket (the part inside the clutch basket that the pressure plates spline onto)? If this is not aligned, the pressure plate will not fully engage the clutch plates. Both parts usually have an indicator mark that shows proper alignment.

Honda 450 rebel fuel tank stud size?

I have a 1986 CMX 450 and have just found thru You Tube that you can use the extra capacity gas tank (3.4 gal) from the 250 to replace the 450 tank. Ordered it and it fits PERFECTLY. No retrofitting needed WHATSOEVER. Cost $99 on Ebay plus shipping. Arrived 2 days earlier than anticipated. VERY VERY HAPPY. I had too many holes in my old tank to even count them. LOL

Clutch rattle and notchy gearchange

dear sir the springs in your clutch is what puts pressure on clutch discs. these springs should all be the same length they should be measured with a caliper and compared to specs . the notchy feeling on your clutch is caused by wear spots on your clutch basket. if you are careful they can be filed down just keep them straight this will restore a smooth clutch feel. to check progress slip a clutch disk in the basket all outer dogs of the clutch plate must contact basket at the same time good luck jim
