Question about 2003 Yamaha TT-R 250
Do a leak down test to confirm leaky intake valves is where I would start fist is highly likely on older bike that one or two of the intake valves is not sealing well - if test out good then it is back to investigating the carbi pilot circuit and replacing pilot jet.
I contrary to many still would always start with leak down test first - I find it very frustrating to spend hours for no results. at least once tested you can spend your time fixing instead of time just eliminating one possibility good luck regards Jamie
