2005 Sebring Touring 2.7. Where is the knock sensor located?

This knock sensor is very difficult to access. It is located between the two cylinder banks, it screws into the cylinder block underneath the intake manifold.

In order to remove the sensor the intake manifold and right cylinder head must be removed.

2.8 liter engine metallic noise when running

IF you have a timing chain it will come as a rattle if worn. If worn hydraulic tappets they will tap excessively at idle on lower oil pressure. If it is a knock the by removing each plug lead in turn and it alters it may be a bigend or main bearing A tinny rattle may be a failing drive plate (flexiplate) that teh torque converter is bolted to

I have an engine code PO332 knock sensor 2 circuit low imput bank 2 what is this problem .the car is a 2001 gmc yukon xl .

The most likely cause of your code is a bad rear knock sensor. You should check the knock sensor wiring harness for corrosion. But if that checks out the sensor will have to be replaced. The knock sensor is under the intake manifold, although it's not too difficult to remove. Both knock sensors should be replaced along with the wiring harness, just because of labor involved in gaining access to the sensors. You could try clearing the code, it may stay off for a long time.

Pretty Difficult you have to remove the complete intake and injector rail. You will need both side intake gaskets and the plenum gasket.

Loud mechanical knock in engine 2.8 a4 Audi 1996

it's probably a rod knocking and that's never too good. get it checked out with a mechanic soon. Some auto parts sell stuff to stop that so you can go there and ask they usually help you, but it won't solve the problem it will just stop the noise for a little bit.
