Question about kawasaki VL 150GS Motorcycles

Open Question

Fuel Injection warning light flashing on my zx10r. I have taken my 2006 zx10 to a Kawasaki dealer and they have plugged in the lap to and no faults came back apart from the the ignition not reconizing the key 12 times over its life time. But I am having the same problem when I start the bike up to warm up it often comes on after a few seconds, but if i turn the bike of and start again it will go out, but also when the bike is warm and ridding carefully in traffic it will start flashing. If i stop at traffic lights i have tried turning it off then starting it up again but sometimes take 3times for it to go out. Please advise...

check the fuel filter it sounds like it's pluged and causing too much back presure this is causing an over load in the fuel pump causing it to stop working or to presure lock

SOURCE: Fuel injection warning light flashes

You should get the Suzuki mechanics to diagnose it unless you know how to put the ECU in dealer mode to find the code, once you have the code the rest is easy

SOURCE: Engine swap 04 zx10r on a 06 zx 636 f

The frame mounting points are completely different. A zx 636 frame wraps around the motor where as a zx10r frame goes directly over the motor. That's how they keep the zx10r nimble enough to feel like a 600cc sport bike. But in this day and age if you have enough time and money you can accomplish anything. Honestly it's just easier to sell your 6 and buy a 1 liter.

F1 mean and flashing red light

The light will be FI for fuel injection, it is the equivalent of a check engine light on a car. Take the bike in for a service so the tech can download the fault codes.

It's not F1, it's FI and it's a Fuel Injection problem. Can't help more than that but i'm sure your dealer can

Stator in my 07 zx10r has over heated and shut down all systems. who do i contact to discuss replacement due to manufacturing fault? please.

Tony, you are out of luck on a free fix for the stator. The manufacturer only gives a 90 day warranty on the bike. Are you sure the stator is the problem? Have you checked the fuses and battery?

On my zx10 2006 f1 lamp is on,what could be that, the bike works normaly?

FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter restricting airflow, a plugged injector, an error in fuel mapping, any number of things. Serious problems can trigger the computer to prevent the bike from starting until the problem is fixed. You will need to take the bike to a dealer to have them plug in a code reader. The code reader will tell you exactly what the problem is. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

I have zx12r ninja year 2000 and i was ridding back home and the red led with the letters f1 what does that mean

What it is saying is not f1. It is saying Fl >>> Fuel Injection. The injection sensors have detected a problem in the system. The problem could be anything from a dirty air filter to a fuel mapping error in the computer system. A dealer can hook up a code reader to see what the exact problem is.

My Kawasaki Z750 has a red warning light flashing with an F1 indication flashing too. what is the problem?

It actually says "FI" for fuel injection. It is the equivalent of the check engine light in your car. There is a problem with the fuel injection system that will need to be addressed by the dealer.

i hope this helps
