How do i change the gearing on a 2005 sportster 1200c

if its chain, try different sprockets, bigger front will give lower rpms ,and pull longer ,and be faster

if you go rear, smaller will lower rpms, and be faster, bigger rear will be quicker but top speed will not be as fast
not sure if there is a speed sensor , that needs to be changed,
i have the same bike, and am wanting the bigger front pully stock is 29 i think , and there is a 30,and a 32 tooth pully for the belt drive models! sweet product , not belt change either!, but like i said i read something about a speed sensor that needs something to correct it

How to change drive belt on craftsman ltx1000 18hp kohler

Find out the driver belt's partnumber. If you don't have the manual call Sears and tell them the model numberor look it up online. Clean out theunderside of your mower's deck, making sure there are no leftover pieces fromyour old belt still stuck inside. Findyour mower's tensioner, which keeps the pulleys in place, and loosen it (thisusually involves loosening a single bolt). Then slide the pulleys closertogether so that you can fit the belt over them more easily. Arrange the driver belt over the pulleys (youshould refer to your user manual for the exact configuration of the belt overthe pulleys, since this will vary depending on the specific model of your lawnmower) Tighten the tensioner back up,leaving only about a finger's width left of play in the belt.

How do i remove serpentine belt?

you will need a 3/8'' drive breaker bar to pull back & hold the ''belt tensioner'' away & while doing so remove the serpentine belt. there is a 3/8'' square hole in the tensioner where you apply the bar. watch your fingers!

Model no. 917257660 need belt size for drive and deck

Hello,

The part number for the drive belt is: 140294 the size is Length: 82 1/4", Width: 1/2", Type: Covered

The part number for the mower deck is: 140067 the size is Length: 82 1/2", Width: 1/2", Type: Covered

They are very similar belts so don't get them mixed up the springs on the clutch pulleys may not be able to compensate for the slight difference.

Good luck, if you find this helpful please vote yes. Thank You!!

Broken drive belt on belt sander

My answer comes almost a year after the original question, but I'll post it anyway for those who end up here after a search.
Black & Decker no longer supplies drive belts for the BR400 sander, but you can get a replacement elsewhere if you know what to ask for.
The belt is a synchronous, single-sided "XL" series belt, and mine had 120XL031 printed on it. The belt width is 0.31in or 5/16in or 7.9mm. Its pitch (distance from tooth to tooth) is 0.20in or 1/5in or 5mm. Its total height is 0.09in, and tooth height is 0.045in. It has 60 teeth, making the total length 12in.
I found a replacement at sdp-si.com, part number A 6R 3-060031.
Look here for timing belts (inch), then narrow the search for single-sided, .200 (XL) pitch, 60 grooves, 5/16 width.

Timing belt wrong size

Go to your local auto parts store and give them the year, make, model and engine size of your Isuzu. You can measure the width and length and count the teeth. Hope this helps.
