2001 kawasaki zx-7s won't start cleaned carb replaced hoses it started up after all this but now a week later the bike won't start and there is no leaks

Try this; in the event of a crash(or removing carbs) there is a magnetic charge that closes the needle valve preventing fuel flow. You may have to demagnetize the carb by grounding the frame. Usually, you can do this by running a wire from the carb to earth. Hope this helps.

the shaft seal is bad behind the pull start and leaking oil into your stater which is why you arent getting any spark for it to crank

I have a 300 kawaski 4x4 atv and when i start it starts leaking fuel out of the carbuertor.

If it's the one I'm thinking of -it has a vacuum operated shutoff valve on the tank. So your leaky -read stuck- needle and seat only leak when the engine is turning over.

Pull the carb loose and roll over and remove the float bowl. drop the float pin and remove the float and needle. Find the vacuum line to the fuel valve and **** it open to flush out the needle and seat. When the fuel runs clean, put the needle and float back on and open the fuel valve again. If the upside down carbs holds back the fuel- it's fixed and you can put it back together.

My 2004 kx 250f often starts with one kick when cold but after that even after 1-10 minutes idling if it needs to be started again it will take 15-25 kicks..

Dont twist the throttle at all when starting the warm/hot engine. The carb has a diaphragm fuel pump that gives a shot of gas each time you crack the throttle open. It is very easy to flood the bike.

I have a kawasaki kx 250 2 stroke an it was running good now it wont start. it has spark it wants to fire up but it just backfires.

hi murray,

nice bike you have there.

have you checked on the carb ans see if the jet is right and the mixture is normal, this is usually the case if the carb is not tuned right.

better of reset the card, open it clean it, then set to default even if you are using your mixture of gas and 2t. just set to factory default. once it starts give it a few run, 1-2 hours, then set it to how you want your mixture to be.

hope this helps,

regards,

voodoo
