No voltage to throttle body on a suzuki samuri

this this all stock car, as most sammi are vastly modified, now.
common mod is put in Sidekick G16B engine.
so is it stock 1.3L?
that be first question, and if car is EFI and is stock or G16
the TPS needs 5vdc from the ECU.
if the ECU 5vdc ref pin is dead there are only 2 causes.
1: ECU bad.
2: this line is shorted.

1992 had 3 engines. 1.3 , 1.6 TBI and 1.6 MPI
throttle body or Multipoint injection (4 injectors) vastly different.
ECU TBI , pin a23 is 5vdc, if the map shorts, this can blow out the 5vde regulator,
ECU MPI. pin B6 runs only the TPS. sensors. (simple)

best practice here is to post displacement of engine,
and ECU part number. ECU suffix is all we need. and bingo.
I have all Suz, part. number, in my book. for all parts and all ECU.
(usa and canada)

The ECU shops (cardone is tops in USA) the first test
is the 5v pin, #1 off the dime. that.
the Sidekick ECU 8valve ECU. TBI , the 5vdc pin loves to burn the
pcb trace to kingdom come.
see that here.
examples see suz, page for 5v
http://www.fixkick.com/ECU/ecu-8v-sig-list/e76.jpg

see blown trace
the trace in front of this zener diode blows.
(usually customers hot wiring stuff (evil)
http://www.fixkick.com/ECU/5vdc-Refr-supply/56B30-5VDC.jpg

the acutal blown trace (and zener blown too)
is here see it, (if real sammi, it will be i different loc.)
this is a Sidekick G16A TBI ECU. 56Bxx
http://www.fixkick.com/look/ECU-secrets/images/33920-56B30_B15_damaged_trace-B15.jpg

how is that?
need more , ask /?

id bet cardone didnt check your ecu, (some fleabayer?)

Fault with ecu

fault with an ecu, ecu's can be fixed the only thing you need it the software putting back on it. some ecu are at fault as it may have had a glitch and lost some of its functions this can be fixed with a reprogram. some ecu after a time need to be updated. some ecu's are now automatically updated via a gsm network using the original radio your manual will tell you if this is fitted.more common faults with an ecu is not the ecu at all and a bad sensor engine knock sensors have been know to turn off the ecu. some engine are fitted with none start if the cat sensor has failed.limp mode is activated when the cam sensor or crank sensor has failed. some models if the egr has failed can put engine in limp mode or turn off the ecu. if a ecu fails for a none sensor related problem then the ecu has come under a fault, software or voltage. some of the old ecu were fitted with a temperature sensor either inside or on the case on the out side of the ecu. these can fail and will need to be replaced.

Where is the computer box in the Lexus LS400 located?

There are 11 electronic control units(ECU) located in the dash area. They are as follows.
Engine + trans. ecu. behind right side of the dash.
Abs + traction ecu. beside the engine ecu.
electric mirror ecu. behind upper right side of dash.
SRS ecu. behind dash at console.
Shift lock ecu. in center console near shifter.
Power seat ecu. under drivers seat.
progressive power steering ecu. behind left dash left of column.
Steering column tilt + telescopic ecu. behind left dash above column.
Anti-theft ecu. behind far left of dash.
Cruise control ecu. just below the anti-theft ecu.
My guess is you are looking for the engine ECU but you may be
looking for 1 of these in the future. Hope this helps.

I have a 2002 Kia ECU system fuse burning all the time

Assuming the correct fuse is being used, there is a short somewhere in the wiring leading to the ECU or in the ECU itself. If no modification has been done to the wiring (such as aftermarket radio or alarm), the ECU may be bad. A dealership may be able to test the ECU if you remove it, but will probably charge for the service. You may be able to find a cheap ECU at a junkyard for the same cost. You can use an ammeter to check power consumption at the fuse slot. If there is more than rated amperage consumption with the key on, engine off and ECU in, there is a short. Remove the ECU and recheck. If there is more than about a hundred milliamps with the ECU out, the short is in wiring. If not, the short is in the ECU. If there has been modification to the wiring, check it for shorts or exposed wires, and remove the mods if possible. You may also be able to get a pinout for the ECU from Kia and check for incorrect shorts to ground on each pin using a self-powered continuity tester.

Changed ECU three times with rebuilt ECU continuing not to start when hooked up to diagnostic machine Says its the ECU all grounds and wires Were checked three diffrent mechanics HELP!!!!!!!!!

some wranglers have security and if the wrong ecu is used it will cause a no start.

So if someone is condeming the ecu, then what system is not working.

If a component has a short in it and it takes out the ecu then if the problem is not found then every ecu you hook up will fail as soon as you turn the key on.
