I have a 97 honda cbr. Truthfully. Its up to you. I keep mine idled a lil high because its an older bike and tends to slowly sputter out when cold. But I find myself turning it down at stoplights every now and then. So really its your choice. But originally it should idle at 700 to 900 rpm. Thats hundred not thousand lol.
