Question about 2000 kawasaki ZX-9 R Ninja
I am not 100% on this one but I have owned several newer models 06 09 and 2010 and they all had cut out switches or kill switches if clutch wasn't pulled in or if stand was down they would not be able to start...
So called safety devices they were called but damn annoying I felt no doubt you feel the same
they all could be bypassed but in my experience bikes and their electrics should never be altered unless essential or your a master electrician
I am assuming your bike runs and starts well with clutch in and in neutral and with stand up ??
maybe ring your Kwaka dealer to confirm as I said I not certain when these safety switches started to be installed
