Well my friend this is something that isn't uncommon with cbrs, maybe not your exact problem but close. start with checking your charging system you should peck around 14.5 volts on a rev and at idle you should be sitting around 13 volts. if that shows good check your ground from the battery to the frame and motor a poor ground will cause all sorts of problems. if that's all working as it should check your gang plugs from back to front, not just that they are plugged together but the wires in the plugs are ok as well. if all this is working and in good shape it will help you to download the repair manual and see if you can pull any codes from it. the list is REALLY long or i would just type them for you but check over the short list i gave you and let me know what you find. in the mean time i will get the site ready for you so you can download the manual, it's always good to have

this is where i downloaded mine from. the file was taken off the computer after i printed it out or i would just send you the file. if you have any trouble let me know and i'll see if my wife backed it up with the rest of my **** she takes care of for me. if you haven't taken your bike apart before becare with the front air intake covers you'll want to pull and rip after awhile but don't take your time start at the tank and unsnap it carefully. if you have any problems getting it apart let me know i been in one or two of those bikes. i will say they are rocket ships when they are on.

Instrument panel on 2003 Honda CRV starts flashing when headlights are on

Have had a similar experience with my 2000 Ford Windstar. The extra load added by turning on the headlights affects the instrumentation power feed. The illumination flickers and the gages go crazy. Your 2003 CRV may have its original battery which is near death. It took me four batteries to stabilize things and I still get the flickers at night sometimes

Gauges and Warning Lights Are Going Crazy

Hi there! I am having the same issue. It seems like every time that it rains a lot this happens. Check the battery though, the ground connection of my battery is wet every time this happen's. Check if the battery is damp or wet, that is usually what causes it for me. I am in the process of getting a cover for it, or putting electrical tape over it.

I was riding my 05 honda cbr600rr and there was a brief loss of power. the power came back but the bike was lightly hesitating. and the rpms would go up and down between 1 and two rpms at idle.

Sounds like an electrical short or loose connection, check first your battery connections, then all your major harness plugs including your fuse panel, lastly check your battery for good charging and make sure there is no draw

My CBR600RR 04 on idle is not running right and the FI light is flashing constantly, can you help me solve this problem please.

FI stands for Fuel Injection. The fuel system sensors have detected a problem. It could be anything > a dirty air filter restricting airflow, a plugged injector, an error in fuel mapping, any number of things. You will need to take the bike to a Honda dealer to have them plug in a code reader. The code reader will tell you exactly what the problem is. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

05 altima blows fuse for left headlight

Go out at night, or dusk, with a flash lite, replace the fuse with a higher amp or any spare fuse, turn out the lights, turn on the car lights, look for a spark somewhere, have people standing around engine comp, if it doesn't blow, wiggle wires, if it shorts out, you should see a spark, fix with tape, you should be all set.

How to wire a tach on 05 heritage softail

Locate & route Black lead to ground / 2004-later softail: On the frame strap under the seat directly in front of the battery.

Locate & route the pink lead to Signal / For 2004 & later FXST/C/I The #3 cavity in the connector {39b} on the back of the speedometer. The socket terminal on the signal (pk) lead fits the #3 cavity.

Locate & route the Orange and white lead to power / Ummm.. it's saying for 2004 and later to adapt to the fuse block For earlier [ For 1996 to 2003 softail: locate the power lead (o/w) in the tail lamp pin connector {7a} under the seat behind the right rear corner of he battery.] "here you are looking to run it to a fused line, not directly to power/battery" I hope this helped.
