You may be running low on fuel, turn fuel valve to "Reserve" or "res" setting.

Also, your fuel pump may be bad. The front carburator is higher than the gas outlet so there is a fuel pump. i believe it is located just between battery and back wheel. Look for the fuel hose routing to run back there.

Good luck

It may be the kick stand safety switch? You can only start it sitting on the bike with the stand up.

Suzuki starts when cold and dies when warm, will not even turn over when warm, 2005 650 savage

Sounds like vaporlock. Try insulating the fuel line, especially around hot engine parts.

Lifter noise

There is a tendency for you tohear some noise because they are normally pretty quiet, but just in case you didn't check it out put your hand on the gas cap cover when going down the road. They vibrate after awhile> you might try synthetic oil also, it does quiet them down.

2002 Suzuki ls 650 Savage Ekectrucak problem

sounds like either the battery is past its useful life (will no longer hold a charge while under load) or the recharging circuit is no longer working. i'd focus on the battery especially if its the original from 2002.

even if the trickle charger shows a full charge, remove it from the charger and immediately measure the voltage. wait about 10 minutes and recheck the voltage. if it has fallen to below 11volts without any load applied, then change the battery. be sure to trickle charge the new one before using it.
