    is it a older bike? has it been sitting? it sounds like the carb flooded filled the case with gas. drain your oil, fill it up; clean your carb and make sure it isn't flooding and you should be ok

Reverse shredder and clean out as much paper shred as possible. Use some lube oil. Hairclipper oil and canola vegetable oil are good choices.

Is the article about how a lot of Olive Oils brands are mostly fake true?

Pretty much. Just read the ingredients. You want pure virgin olive oil. That is all the ingredients will say. Pure Virgin Olive oil. Anything else with it, it not pure. Just like everything else. You want green beans? then the ingredients will only say "green beans" If you want organic. the label will say organic, the virgin olive oil.

Oil leak

oil can leak in several places n your car,valve cover gaskets ,oil pan, rear main seal timing covers, oil pressure switch, oil drain plug, adn the oil filter if on too loose or if punctured. go to your local parts house and pick up a small ultra violet flashlight and 1 bottle of oil dye.( this will not harm your oil or the engine so you could leave it in until you change oil again) Install the dye in the oil filler cap and replace the cap. Next wipe away all the oil you can get to from the top and bottom of the engine. drive vehicle around the block 3 or 4 times allowing the dye to circulate and leak out. Now take your black light flashlight and start looking for a bright yellow or green to show up on the engine. Follow the green line right back to where it came from, there is at least one of your many possible leaks.

My 97 Chevy 1500 is leaking out from the bottom . Wat cud it possibly be?

Well, lets see... it could be engine oil, it could be coolant/antifreeze, it could be brake fluid, it could be power steering fluid, it could be windshield washer fluid, it could be transmission fluid, it could be gas, it could be differential gear oil.

hi this will depend on a few things, i will write all the data you need, you will have to see what yours is,
automatic transmission fluid ZF transmission: 3HP22/4HP22/4HP22EH/4HP24 = DEXRON II A5S 310Z (5HP-18): Black Plate = DEXRON III Green Plate = Lifetime oil/ESSO LT 71 141 A5S 325Z (5HP-19) =Lifetime oil/ESSO LT 71 141 A5S 440Z (5HP-24) =Lifetime oil/ESSO LT 71 141 A5S 560Z (5HP-30) =Lifetime oil/ESSO LT 71 141 Black Plate = SHELL LA 2634 Green Plate =Lifetime oil/ESSO LT 71 141 GA6HP (6HP19)/GA6HP26Z (6HP26)/GA6HP32Z (6HP32) = SHELL M-1375,4
total drain and refill 3.0 ltrs
sorry its so confusing but you gotta make sure you have the right oil for the right gearbox...hope this is comprehensive for you

Yamaha 50 hp motor oil red and green oil sensor lights are on

The engine will self destruct if you continue to run it without the proper oil mixture. Some oil systems have to purged of air if ran dry. Seek professional assisstance.

I have a 1993 Honda NSR 250 2 stroke and it seams to run fine until i lean it to the rite and when i do it cuts out with the oil light flashing on for a split of a sec can you tell me what this is

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

You have two (2) concerns and are interrelated to each other:
  • lean right, oil light comes on - the 2T oil reservoir on most NSR designs would be attached to the right side, relatively high on the frame;
  • on leaning towards the right, the contents of this reservoir would be displaced because of the angle. The 2T oil level sensor/switch would erroneously sense low or no 2T oil condition while thus leaned;
  • this sensor/switch marked "Oil Level Switch" is connected to two (2) wires Green/Red and Green (ground);
  • the false "low or no 2T oil" would trigger the "Low Oil/Ignition Warning" light to glow red; simultaneously
  • the other Green/Red wire would go and trigger the PGM-III to switch OFF, hence the engine cutout.
Solution would be to fill the reservoir with appropriate 2T oil.

Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
