It could be alot do you ride one wheel alot?? that keeps the oil from being moved in the motor, whens the last time you checked the oil? did you miss a shift and over rev the bike, could have hit a vavle. sounds to me your best bet is getting someone to look at it

The hotter the bike. the harder to shift and nutral is hard to find

Change the oil used (viscosity) (this may also be a clutch problem) as when oil heats up it thins out but some oils tend to take a long time so have a word with your dealer as to another oil or it may be something is heating up inside the gear box (caused by something rubbing onto another part) although normally all metal parts need to bed in (depending on the mileage) the oil keeps things running as smooth as possible but you may have a slightly bent selector rod that is fine when cold but bends slightly when warm and a little more when hot and as this is a gradual thing you will notice the problem then you will notice as you ride the problem getting worse so this suggests something wrong. when you visit your dealer make a note of the day time etc for future reference or simply contact the manufacturer direct and use another dealer as some dealers fob you off hoping you will go away. if under warranty get it sorted out as the manufacturer can say "you did know of a fault but still went out on the bike) . warning.. if the gearbox seizes up it will throw you of the bike

What would cause code P1603 to occur on 2005 Jeep Rubicon

I have an 05 6 cylinder automatic TJ. The other morning I was getting trouble codes U0101 and P1603. For a few seconds the Jeep was shaking and for the entire 30min ride it wouldn't shift into the last gear, it would just continue to rev. The next day I drove it and it was fine. I also noticed a slight high pitch whine noise coming from the engine at low speeds. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Transmission not shifting gears in drive at freewill

There is a vaccum modulator on the front of the transmission. It has a single vaccum line going to it and is held in place with one bolt. This part controls your up and down shift. Its a 20.00 part. Try replacing it first. If that dosent do it then you will need a rebuild or replacment.

On two seperate occassions, my 1988 HD FXRS seemed to lose power suddenly on the freeway - It went from 70 mph to 15 mph without shifting down from fifth. I attempted shifting through all gears but nothing...

The latter part sounds like insufficient play on the clutch lever--the clutch seems to be slipping. Sudden power loss is usually linked to the ignition system. Have you checked the lube level in the transmission? You could be having a bearing seizure if the lube is low.

Your transmission torque converter lock up clutch is not unlocking, that kills the engine and is the cause of the OD light flashing.

2008 HONDA cbr 125 Popping out of 5th Gear

Only three things would cause the problem. 1) a slightly beny shift fork, 2) a shift index wheel loose, 3) the foot shift lever needs to be adjusted.

The most likely source is the shift lever needing to be lower. Once you are in 5th gear you move your foot to the top iof the pedal in preparation for a downshift. At high speed your entire body is leaning forward FOOT INCLUDED. Chances are that enough pressure is on the pedal to move the slider gear out of position and thus out of 5th gear.

I hope I am right in the solution. Best wishes.
