My jeep frount end shakes when i hit a pothole what makes it do that

Check your steering stability bar I had the same problem and it turned out that I had bent that bar.

The death wobble is basically when you are driving your lifted jeep down the road and the front end starts to shake violently. It can happen at virtually any speed, though mostly above 40 mph or so, and is a frightening experience, especially for those witnessing it for the first time. Now it doesn’t throw you off the road or anything … the front end just shakes. And the only way to stop it is to slow down and pull over. So it wasn’t that hard to get used to at first. But as it happened more and more, it seemed to get more and more out of control.

Hope help (remember comment and rated this).

2002 ford taurus shakes

You need to have the front end inspected for damaged steering components. Check your Tie Rod ends, A frame bushings and ball joints to make sure there isn't excessive wear or lose connections. If all of that is in good working order Drive down the road with a friend in the next lane over and have them look to see if either wheel in bouncing. If either wheel is bouncing you need to replace the struts. they are replaced in pairs, both sides. The front end will need to be aligned after you do this.

Front end and steering wheel shakes

when slowing to make right turn is it more like a clicking noise, does it do it while turning or just when slowing down. If it is while you are turning it is most likely the right cv axle drive shaft popping. When at a stop with ac on does it shake if you put it in park and how do the rpms read in park or in drive. Did they change the trans mount also dont thank that is it just trying to get a better understanding so I can better assist you.

Front end shakes when slowing down brakes and rotors are good. When not pushing brake it rides fine.

did you check your brake rotor for warpage. even a .010 warp on the rotor will be felt in the steering when aplying the brakes. use a dial indicator to check the warping

Front end shimmy

Sounds like you may have some large tires on the Jeep. Check the stabilizer rod that attaches to the frame and down to the front differential. It may be loose or have worn bushings. This would cause the front end to shake at times. You probably get this problem to go away by applying the brakes a little or slowing down quickly to a certain speed. If that is the case check the rod and bushings. Good luck.
