Question about Harley Davidson XL 1200 C Sportster Custom Motorcycles
I'm sorry but I cannot answer that question as this information is not in the service manual. All the service manual gives is the angle of grinds which are "three angle grinds" of 60°, 45°, & 31°. Seat width should be 0.040" to 0.062". You need to take the heads to an automotive machine shop that is familiar with Harley-Davidson head reconditioning. Ask you local dealer who they use, most do not do their own machine shop work any longer.
