If the clutch is not to old then open it take out the plates clean them and soak in clean oil and then replace them back in
dump your complete engine oil and replace your oil filter whilst there if you know the clutch plates are pretty old then do all same especially the soak plates in oil stage but with new clutch kit problem should go away
Generally if clutch is noise but still working OK its because of dirty engine oil change your engine oil as often as you can afford your entire engine a clutch completely rely's on it being clean

2006 BMW R1200GS - whilst riding no noise but when I close the throttle it makes a grinding sound. It goes away when I pull in the clutch. It is a tyoe of revolving grinding noise.

May be broken snap ring which keeps gears in proper position, but since you posted this in the wrong category, don't expect many answers.

The clutch on my lawn tractor is moaning really loud when running but stops when the peddle is pressed, however the mower runs and cuts grass just fine. any solutions?

One or more of the pulleys are worn and need to be replaced. The method I use is to pull the belt away and hand-spin each pulley to see which one has a grinding sound or loose feel. (A new pulley will feel rock solid and have no sound when you spin it.)

I went over some substantial speed-bumps where the bottom struck and scratched. I had to go about 2 kms/hr. so it would not happen (seriously!). Everything was fine (stopped at a store for about 10...

Hi, it seems you have faulty clutch from the description you made concerning the grinding noise when you tried 2nd and 3rd gear which i thinks is as a result of the stuck and scratch you had on the speed bump. And if you try riding it in its present state, you will end up damaging the gear box...

Now if your engine stalls when you drop into 1st gear, with the clutch disengaged, then the clutch plates are stuck together. Normally in this case, before starting the engine, try putting the transmission in 2nd or 3rd gear (But you already have a problem doing that which is also as a result of the faulty clutch), pull the clutch in and roll the bike forward and backward a few times to free the stuck plates. Meanwhile fresh gasoline maybe all you need..

In summary, a clutch problem....

2004 gmc envoy engine tapping sound, it has plenty of water/antifreeze, and plenty of oil.

We have the same tapping sound on our 2003 Envoy six cylinder engine. I believe the sound is coming from the radiator fan clutch assembly. When the engine reaches its operating temperature and the fan clutch engages, the tapping sound goes away.

Hayabusa engine griding sound

If you have done 14,500KM since the noise started there can't be a whole lot wrong. They are noisy engines anyway - might be normal. Only thing I can suggest is to check under your clutch cover.
